The user's tasks include taking note of thoughts and feelings in discomforting or stressful situations. Recording these thoughts helps in identifying automatic negative thoughts that contribute to issues like depression or anxiety.
By engaging with the automatic thought diary, users can learn to recognize and modify automatic thoughts, leading to the resolution of psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
